Alan Jackson Allows Late Fan's Daughter To Set Up Shrine In Nashville Bar

We previously told you about a huge Alan Jackson fan whose dying wish was to have her ashes spread at Jackson's Nashville area home. As we reported, her daughter, named Sue Castle, recently flew to Nashville from her home in Maine to accomplish that goal for her mother. While she didn't get to Jackson's home, the singer's team welcomed Castle to Jackson's downtown Nashville venue, AJ's Good Time Bar, and allowed her to put up a display she'd made highlighting her mother, Mary Ann "Marie" Gallant's, love of Jackson and his music to be showcased in the bar. Castle was also granted free food and drinks for life at the bar, per Jackson.

Tyler Hubbard Releases Video For 'I'm The Only One'

Tyler Hubbard has released the video for the song "I'm The Only One," one of the six tracks included on his Dancin' In The Country project. The song was co-written by Tyler and will be included on his upcoming debut solo album, due out on January 27th.

He said, "This song is pure joy. ‘I'm The Only One' is a song that feels classic and timeless – it's for anyone who has love in their life, who's found their partner. I feel so blessed to have my wife Hayley and think of her every time I sing this song. The music video was a blast to make. Just like the previous videos we've released, we really wanted to think outside the box and create a scene and a setting that was a little unique and unexpected. So, we did this one in a classic Nashville suit shop. The shop closes, and it's party-time for me. I'm seen having a good time, trying on suits and making this shop my own. It's just such a fun video."

Tyler sits at Number Three this week on the Mediabase country chart with his debut solo single, "5 Foot 9."

He will make his Grand Ole Opry debut as a solo artist on Friday, November 11th. Tickets are available at Opry.com.

Carrie Underwood On Why She'd 'Lose Respect' For Certain Artists

If you see Carrie Underwood perform in concert or on any award show, you can bet she's singing live! In fact, Carrie tells Rolling Stone that she has no use for any artist who doesn't do the same. She said, "I love to sing, and I've always taken pride in the work I've put in on my vocals. I do want to sound good. Growing up and going to concerts or seeing my favorite artists on TV, if they didn't sound like they were supposed to sound, it was always so deflating. I'd lose respect for them. Or when I'd go to a concert and hear them drop keys, I was like, "You can't hit the notes! Why'd you record them if you can't sing them?" That stuff is important to me."

Carrie kicked off her Denim & Rhinestones Tour last weekend with special guest Jimmie Allen. Tonight (Thursday, October 20th), she takes the stage in Lexington, KY followed by Rosemont, IL and Milwaukee, WI.

Carrie is nominated for Entertainer, Female Vocalist and Musical Event of the Year for "If I Didn't Love You" with Jason Aldean at next month's CMA Awards. The show will air live on ABC on November 9th.

The idea to add Katy's voice to the song came from an executive at Thomas' record label, and he admits that while he loved the idea, he thought it was a long shot. Thomas loved working with the pop star and tells us it was all a little unbelievable when he thinks back on his teen years. "It was so surreal talking to someone who, I don't know, when I was like 16, 17 years old, Katy‘s music was everybody's anthem, everybody's jam, and everybody's got a favorite Katy Perry song. And so, when she said that she was gonna sing on the song with me, I was shocked. And it turned out so beautiful. One of the most incredible string arrangements I've heard. I remember when I got Katy‘s vocal back I was blown away. I mean, she's an incredible singer but this kind of reminded me of how amazing of a vocalist she is, and I just feel like it really came to life."

"Where We Started" starring Thomas and Katy will make its world premiere today at 10 a.m. CT on Thomas' YouTube page.
