Luke Combs On How 'Going, Going, Gone' Was Written

Luke Combs is celebrating his 15th consecutive #1 song with "Going, Going, Gone" and as a songwriter, he has lots of stories to tell about how the hits were written. Here's what he told us about about this one: You know, we wrote that song, that riff was just it was there and it was undeniable in the room and, and I pulled that idea out and it just made sense to all of us and I feel like that track if I'm, if I'm remembering, correct, that's the last track on Growin' Up. The point of that was to go okay, well, this is where we're going right? Like I didn't announce when Growin' Up came out that there was going to be a second part to this thing and really, there's not. But I wanted people to go okay, well, you know, this track 12 I really liked that thing. It's this new sound, it's different. It's something else, but I still love it and I still can relate to it. And I wanted to let people know that that's kind of where this was going right like leading into this next album. :43 (OC: next album)

Carly Pearce Says Her Underwater Video Shoot Was Not Easy

In Carly Pearce's new video for "What He Didn't Do," you see her gradually walk into the ocean wearing a long wedding dress, then she takes a swim underwater. She makes it look easy, but she tells us that wasn't the case at all: "It was me. The whole video is me. I underestimated how difficult it would be to swim underwater with a large wedding dress on. It was really, really crazy to feel the weight of that, but I feel like it almost helped me to get it into the character some. It scared me because at times, you know, you think, oh, I know how to swim. But when you feel that kind of weight really pulling you down it's quite scary. But those scenes of me coming out of the water, I mean, if you look, my dress is broken on the sleeve, and that was actually what really happened just because of the wear and tear of what I was doing. But that was one of the harder things I think I've done, physically, and honestly, the mental game of that was pretty hard." :45 (OC: pretty hard)

Chris Young Is Grateful For His Music Career

With almost 2 decades of a successful career in the music industry, Chris Young is grateful for it all. The good and the bad. Chris tells us more: "Yeah, I mean, I'm incredibly grateful for anybody that's followed my music, bought my music, streamed my music, bought a ticket, told me they liked something I did. Like, did anything and everything. You're not supposed to have a 17 year career in music, and I'm not done yet. So it's pretty wild. You know, I signed my record deal when I was 20. So sometimes it's just kind of tough to wrap my head around. But the biggest thing I can say is I'm just really grateful that I've been around this long and also really happy that it has not been a difficult 17 years there's moments that have been difficult, but it's been pretty damn awesome." :49 (OC: pretty damn awesome)

Tim McGraw Releases New Single

After several days of teasing new music, Tim McGraw released a single called "Standing Room Only." It's the title track from what will be his 17th studio album, due later this year.

Because of its message, Tim says the song caught his ear the first time he heard it, describing it as "positive and life affirming." He said, "It isn't about the funeral or the procession, it's about how we live, in the here and now."

Sam Hunt Releases New Song

Over the weekend, Sam Hunt released a new song called "Outskirts." As one of the writers, he says it's about what could have been. Sam tells us more: "It's going to sort of be in line with this character who has come to a crossroads in his life between sort of choosing the world and his dreams and maybe a family and future kids and his roots. And as he gets off down the road, out into the world, he's kind of looking back like, uh, did I do the right thing here? That's kind of the theme that runs through most of these songs that'll be coming out here. But it's the idea is, uh, that, you know, he's living in town and fills his schedule and always busy just trying to find his way in the world. And it's easy to do in town, but as soon as he gets out, out on the outskirts of town, he's reminded of the choice, the road he didn't take, and he's second guessing whether or not he's on the right path or not. So that's essentially the gist of it." :55 (OC: the gist of it)

It's been a long time since he has played that venue, and as Sam tells us, it's going to be a different experience for fans who have seen him play in larger venues. "It's been maybe seven or eight years since I actually played the Ryman and so (I'm) just looking forward to just really getting in there and not overthinking it, not scripting it out too much and in preparation for the summer tour, getting in there and trying some songs out, playing them maybe in some new ways but more than anything, just have a more intimate experience."

Kane Brown Was Most Influenced By Shania Twain

The month of March is dedicated to Women's History, and as a man surrounded by females in his personal life, Kane Brown has nothing but appreciation and admiration. His wife, Katelyn, and daughters, Kingsley and Kodi are at the top of his list of women who have influenced him positively, but there's someone else. Kane tells us: "I feel like I say this every time, but I'm going to have to go with Shania Twain again. My mom was a huge fan of hers, so I've grown up listening to all her music and I actually met her one time and I talked about doing a song with her. So, it'd be cool if we got to do it. But yeah, she influenced me the most as a female."

Kane and Katelyn recently topped the country charts with their first duet, "Thank God."

Kane continues on his headlining Drunk or Dreaming Tour on March 16th in Grand Rapids, MI with special guests Dustin Lynch and LoCash.

To me, to be able to share this band that's so white hot – even our rehearsals have inspired all of us almost like the shows – with the fans who were there when this was turning into something great, that makes me even more fired up to get out there."

Kenny's set list includes close to 30 songs, as well as a few planned surprises for fans along the way.

The bus driver and I reconciled immediately and we are friends and stay in touch."

The audio was leaked online earlier this week. It was shared on TikTok by user @_i.am.brooke_ with the caption, "TIKTOK THIS IS NOT ME BULLYING. We're just outing someone who is. I guess the Chain of Love ends with him after all… Share this to make sure it's seen, and he doesn't get away with this."

To me, that's big time in the summer. You know, I love being outside as much as I can, so the grass brings something to the to it. I don't know, something about the grass on the hill and the environment. And there's so many great amphitheaters with so many great artists that come through that people also have, is familiar for the folks who come out, too, because they're going to go see a lot of times another one or two or three concerts at that same venue that summer.
