Jimmie Allen To Debut New Video On 'The Kelly Clarkson Show'

Jimmie Allen will debut the music video for his single "be alright" on The Kelly Clarkson Show this Monday (April 24th), marking the first world broadcast music video premiere on the show since its launch. Jimmie will also appear as a guest on the show, billed as The Gift of Music Hour episode in celebration of Kelly's birthday.

Jimmie said, "I grew up a fan of shows like TRL, 106 & Park and Top 20 Country Countdown. I miss the days where it was like the world stopped and just watched to see the visual creation by an artist of a song that people were slowly starting to hear, or a song that people knew. I feel like the visual gives a song a new meaning and a new perspective, and I really wanted to find a way to have a world premiere of ‘be alright.' Thank you so much to Kelly Clarkson and her team for having me on the show and letting me do that!"

Following the broadcast debut, the music video for "be alright" will be available everywhere digitally at 5:30 p.m. CT on Monday. It was co-directed by Jimmie, who also stars in the clip alongside The Goldbergs' actress Hayley Orrantia. It was shot on the Warner Bros. lot in Los Angeles.

"be alright (15 edition)" – a special version of the song – went to Country radio earlier this month. It's the second single off Jimmie's latest album, Tulip Drive.

Corey Kent Grateful To 'Have A Hit With Friends'

Corey Kent has his very first hit on his hands with "Wild As Her," a Top Five at country radio and climbing on the charts. While a successful songwriter in his own right, Corey didn't have a hand in writing this one, which was penned by Morgan Wallen, Brett Tyler and Kelly Archer.

Prior to landing his first major label record deal, Corey was signed to a publishing deal and found it frustrating that his songs weren't being recorded because the artists themselves wanted a hand in writing their own music. He tells us that having been in that situation, he made a promise to himself to give other writers a chance. "I made a pact when I was a staff songwriter that if I ever got the chance to really be a full-blown artist, that real great songwriters, their songs would get a shot on my record. It they're better than what I wrote it's going on the record, and so that was the case with this song. It was a great song. It deserved to see the light of day. (I) wish I would've wrote it but I didn't and here we are, and I'm glad that we recorded it, and you know what's even cooler than winning and having a hit is winning and having a hit with friends."

Corey was recently chosen as one of the Opry NextStage Class of 2023.

Jordan Davis And Peyton Manning Team Up For Unlikely Duet

Jordan Davis introduced a new musical partner via his social media on Tuesday (April 18th) night -- NFL great Peyton Manning! It's not clear whether this was a continuation of the celebration for Jordan's latest Number One hit, "What My World Spins Around," which was held earlier in the day in Nashville, or if the two were just out on the town, but they teamed up on a rendition of Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues." Davis shared the video with the caption, "Just confirmed that @peytonmanning is opening the Damn Good Time Tour."

Jordan will headline the Damn Good Time Tour this fall with official opening acts Gabby Barrett, Conner Smith and Kameron Marlowe, to name a few.

Parmalee and Jelly Roll are collaborating on a song called "Boots On Broadway," Country Now reports. The two acts debuted it during this weekend's Country Thunder festival in Phoenix. There is no word on when or if the song will be released to radio.

Parmalee told the outlet, "We've been friends like 10 years. He's one of our first people we met when we moved to Nashville. He comes out of our house and our lawyer introduced us, and he rolls out there with a couple of his buddies. They (were) just fresh out (of prison) too…(We were like) I don't know if we going to write a song going to get robbed!"

Parmalee also opened for Jelly Roll when he played his sold-out headlining show at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena in December.

Parmalee is currently climbing the charts with "Girl In Mine." Jelly Roll also has a Top 30 and climbing with "Need A Favor."

Jordan Davis Celebrates 'Special' Number One Hit

Jordan Davis celebrated his fifth Number One hit, "What My World Spins Around," with a party at the Four Seasons hotel in Nashville yesterday (Tuesday, April 18th). Jordan was joined by his co-writers on the song, Ryan Hurd and Matt Dagstrem.

While five Number One hits may seem like old hat, Jordan tells us each one is significant, especially "What My World Spins Around." "Every one is special, I think, and these two guys know how hard Number One songs are to get, but also, too, this one is like a little more special. Ryan was the first co-write I had when I moved to Nashville. That was in like 2012 so to fast-forward here, we finally got a song recorded, it got singled, it worked. That's kind of a cool backstory, and I mean, you look forward to these. Like I said, they're tough to get so they're fun to celebrate when they happen."

Jordan is racing up the charts with his latest single -- and potential sixth Number One -- "Next Thing You Know" -- which currently sits inside the Top 20 on the Mediabase chart.

Zach Bryan, Travis Tritt Take Controversial Feud Offline

On Sunday (April 16th), Zach tweeted, "@Travistritt and me talked for an hour and a half last night, eye to eye. It was nice to meet an old legend. We disagree on some things and agree on some things and it seems the world did not end My dad almost cried at his set can everyone stop being so weird." Travis responded, "So glad we had a chance to chat, Zach. Even better to discover that we have so much common ground. All the best to you on your first European tour!"

After Travis' original tweet about Anheuser-Busch, Zach tweeted, "I mean no disrespect towards anyone specifically, I don't even mind @Travistritt. I just think insulting transgender people is completely wrong because we live in a country where we can all just be who we want to be. It's a great day to be alive I thought," he wrote in reference to one of Travis' hit songs.

Last week, Travis responded to Zach writing, "Zach, Been trying to reach out to you through your manager. Since we are both playing the Two Step Inn Festival in Georgetown, TX this Saturday, I was hoping we could chat in person. I will be there all day on Saturday. Please let me know if we can chat. Thanks."

Like you got to be really open and be willing to be completely transparent with them about your life and stuff because they can only help you with what you tell them, you know? So you kind of have to go there a little bit and it's, it can be emotional, it can be hard to do that and stuff but it does make for a better song and they say the more real you are, the more or the more honest you are, the more relatable you are so, I mean, that's something that we've worked really hard on and I've enjoyed finding good songs and I've enjoyed writing good songs, you know, and just kind of being a part of finding songs that rock you know?" :32 (OC: rock you know)
