Jordan Davis Celebrates ‘Special’ Number One Hit

Jordan Davis celebrated his fifth Number One hit, “What My World Spins Around,” with a party at the Four Seasons hotel in Nashville yesterday (Tuesday, April 18th). Jordan was joined by his co-writers on the song, Ryan Hurd and Matt Dagstrem.

While five Number One hits may seem like old hat, Jordan tells us each one is significant, especially “What My World Spins Around.” “Every one is special, I think, and these two guys know how hard Number One songs are to get, but also, too, this one is like a little more special. Ryan was the first co-write I had when I moved to Nashville. That was in like 2012 so to fast-forward here, we finally got a song recorded, it got singled, it worked. That’s kind of a cool backstory, and I mean, you look forward to these. Like I said, they’re tough to get so they’re fun to celebrate when they happen.”

Jordan is racing up the charts with his latest single — and potential sixth Number One — “Next Thing You Know” — which currently sits inside the Top 20 on the Mediabase chart.
