Morgan Wallen tops the Billboard Country singles chart this week with "Last Night," giving him his career ninth Number One single. The song reached the pinnacle just 7 weeks after it was sent to radio and 11 weeks after its release, Country Now reports.
Billboard reports this is the fastest climb to Number One since Luke Bryan's "Strip It Down" in 2015.
"Last Night" is the third single and third Number One from Morgan's new album, One Thing At A Time, which was released in March.
His One Night At A Time Tour rolls on to Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, PA on May 18th.

Chris Janson has revealed the title and cover of his upcoming album, The Outlaw Side of Me, which will be released on June 16th. On Friday (May 5th), he also released the song "21 Forever," featuring Dolly Parton and Slash.

Trisha Yearwood has decided to sell her longtime Nashville area home, which has been the setting for her Food Network show, Trisha's Southern Kitchen. The 6,553 sq. ft. Brentwood, TN home features 5 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms and sits on nearly four and a half acres. The house is listed for $4.5 million.
Trisha told People.com, "When I bought this house in 2000, I was looking for a place that would be my sanctuary. The minute I stepped foot inside, I knew this was the place. Even when I moved to Oklahoma, I just couldn't part with this house. Garth and I would make the house home base when we were in Nashville working on music or visiting friends."
Trisha notes that when she and husband Garth Brooks began dating, she cooked and served her very first meal for him in this house.
Trisha added, "It's bittersweet to sell this place that means so much to me," but she said she is ready for "someone else to live in it and love it as much as I do. It's time."
Blake Shelton will receive the 2,755th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next Friday (May 12th). He is being honored in the category of Recording for his "outstanding achievements in the music industry." Country Now reports that Blake will be joined by his wife, Gwen Stefani, and Carson Daly at the ceremony.
The dedication will take place at 6212 Hollywood Boulevard in front of Amoeba Music in Los Angeles at 11:30 a.m. PT. Blake's star ceremony will be streamed live at walkoffame.com.

Scotty McCreery surprised fans yesterday (Thursday, May 4th) by releasing a new digital track called "Why She Gotta Be Like That" featuring Colombian singer/songwriter GUSI. Scotty discovered GUSI on social media performing his song "Why You Gotta Be Like That" and was struck with the idea for a duet between the two featuring both Spanish and English verses. The duet's video was also released yesterday.
Scotty, who is one quarter Puerto Rican, said, "I've always thought it would be fun to bring the Latin part of my heritage into some of my music. I met GUSI after hearing him perform ‘Why You Gotta Be Like That' on Instagram. It is always flattering to have someone cover one of your songs, and he's so talented so I asked him if he would want to bring some Latin flavor to the track. He brought so much to it. It was so much fun to do a new take on this song as a duet with GUSI, so we decided to call this version ‘Why She Gotta Be Like That.'"
GUSI said, "I am very grateful to Scotty and his team for inviting me to participate in this song. For me it gives me pride to collaborate with him, since I admire his music a lot. Additionally I have grown up listening to country music and recording this song with this great performer was more than I imagined."
The original version of "Why You Gotta Be Like That" is included on Scotty's Same Truck: The Deluxe Album.
His current single, "It Matters to Her," is Top 10-and-climbing on the country charts.
