Jimbo On The Radio

Jimbo On The Radio was born in Chattanooga and raised just down the road in Chattanooga Valley. A proud graduate of Chattanooga Valley High School, Class of 1987 — GO EAGLES!  Jimbo got his start in radio in Chattanooga in Southern Gospel music and then found a home as a morning show co-host on sister station WDOD, back when they were spinning country hits.

Jimbo’s a big-time fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and an even bigger fan of his wife, Paula, who’s been by his side through it all. Whether
they’re cheering on their teams or chasing around their grand-kids, they’re the ultimate duo.

Speaking of grand-kids, Jimbo lights up when talking about his three superstars: Mikel, Zoey, and Logan — they’re the pride of his life. With a voice that feels like home and stories that hit close to the heart, Jimbo brings laughs, memories, and a whole lot of Chattanooga spirit to Classic Country Legends Q 97-3, 99-3 — just the way Chattanooga likes it!
