Looking down at your phone can have serious consequences . . . especially at a sporting event.

During the Sixers / Magic game Wednesday night in Philly, a woman sitting in the front row got nailed in the head with the ball because she was scrolling TikTok, or whatever.

It looked like it hurt, but there’s been no report of injuries or anything.

Sixers star Tyrese Maxey immediately went over to check on the woman, although he had nothing to do with it.  It was an errant pass from the Magic’s Paolo Banchero that clocked her.

(Can we still use “clocked” in that context, or have the kids changed the word’s meaning?  Help an old fella out here.)

(Also, has this woman ever attended a game before?  Sitting courtside and not paying attention?  That’s asking for it.)
