We’ve all heard the saying a million times before:  “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.”

But a recent study says that what time you eat breakfast is just as important.

Researchers looked at 31,000 American adults over the age of 40, and they found that people who ate breakfast between 7 and 8 a.m. had the lowest mortality risk.

Waiting until 8 to 10 a.m. was linked to a 10% higher risk of death . . . eating between 10 a.m. and noon raised that number to 19% . . . and for people who didn’t eat their first meal until after noon, that risk went up to 29%.

They say that meal timing can affect the body’s internal clock, which plays a role in your circadian rhythm and metabolism.  They also said that eating dinner between 7 and 8 p.m. is the best. And you should avoid eating after midnight.
