Kenny Chesney’s latest single “Carry On” has reached number one on the Radio & Records/Mediabase country chart, marking his 37th chart-topping hit. The milestone pushes Chesney to third place for most number one hits, behind George Strait with 44 and Alabama with 40. More significantly, the song gives Chesney his 75th career week at number one — just two weeks short of tying Tim McGraw’s record of 77 total weeks atop the chart. Chesney has released 72 singles since debuting in the early 1990s, with his first number one, “She’s Got It All,” arriving in 1997. A 2025 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee, Chesney shows no signs of slowing down. Story URL
