Vince Gill, Paul Williams To Receive Top Honors At Nashville Songwriter Awards

The Nashville Songwriters Association International will honor Vince Gill and Paul Williams at its 9th Annual Nashville Songwriter Awards on September 22nd at the Ryman Auditorium. Gill receives the Kris Kristofferson Lifetime Achievement Award, NSAI’s highest honor recognizing significant contributions to American songwriting. The 18-time CMA Award winner has earned 22 Grammy Awards, eight ACM Awards, and 2025’s CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award. Gill joined the Grand Ole Opry in 1991 and entered the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2007. Williams will receive NSAI’s President’s Keystone Award for his industry contributions benefiting all songwriters. The Oscar, three-time Grammy, and two-time Golden Globe winner has served as ASCAP President and Chairman for 17 years.
