It might surprise you that Zach Top is actually from Washington, since he has a southern accent.  Well, California native Jon Pardi came to his defense on that.

 

 

He said, quote, “You know, he’s a West Coast guy too, and it just happens when you sing country music all your life, you’re gonna have a little bit of twang, that’s just how it is.”

 

 

In other Zach news, he recently confirmed he’s releasing a few new songs at the end of the summer and a new album next spring.
