Minnesota Man Charged After Attacking Homeless Woman For TikTok Content

Cleve Brown faces felony assault and misdemeanor disorderly conduct charges after attacking a homeless woman at a mall on December 16. Police say Brown approached the 46-year-old victim at a water fountain and punched her “in the back of the head causing her to fall to the ground.” Mall security footage captured the assault. Security officials identified the victim as “possibly mentally disabled” and described “the assault was bad.” Brown and several unknown males fled but were tracked to a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee. “Cleve later told Mall Security that they did that for a TikTok video,” the police report states. The St. Paul resident told officers he “tends to vlog” and was wearing “a portable microphone on his person when arrested.” Brown was also arrested on outstanding warrants for trespass and fleeing police, with pending theft and obstruction charges.
