Don Williams Posthumous Album ‘Epilogue: The Cellar Tapes’ Set For May 29th

Country legend Don Williams will release new music from beyond the grave with Epilogue: The Cellar Tapes dropping May 29th. The album features previously unreleased work tapes discovered at his family home, recorded between 1979-1984 during his most successful period. Williams, known for hits like “Tulsa Time” and “I Believe In You,” died in 2017 from emphysema. The cassette tapes remarkably remained in working condition despite their age. Garth Fundis, Williams’ longtime co-producer spanning four decades, will produce the posthumous release. “Williams would love each and every song,” Fundis stated. The Country Music Hall of Fame inductee won Male Vocalist of the Year and Single of the Year for “Tulsa Time” at the 1978 CMA Awards. Story URL
