Dolly Parton’s Tennessee Travel Stop is officially open in Cornersville.  She surprised fans at the ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday and poked fun at Buc-ee’s.

Quote, “I’m sure some of you want to know why I wanted a truck stop.  Well, I couldn’t leave it to beavers.”

Besides gas pumps and charging stations, the travel stop is fully stocked with Dolly-themed merchandise.  There’s even a chandelier made out of bedazzled guitars.

There’s a sit-down restaurant, a grab-and-go BBQ restaurant, and a coffee shop.  The trucker’s lounge has showers, a laundry room, and a seating area.

For the opening celebration, a local dog rescue was there with adoptable puppies at the Doggy Parton fenced dog park.
