Danny Glover revealed yesterday that he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease since 2023.  He sat down with Lester Holt for a pre-taped interview for the “Today” show.

He said, quote, “I’m sure as it advances, things are going to be different and changing . . . I could live with it, in a sense.”

Since his diagnosis, Danny’s movement, speech, and memory have slowed.  He’ll turn 80 on July 22nd.

In another interview, he said, quote, “I’m still not accepting in my mind all parts of it.  There are the moments that you keep remembering that validate the fact that you can remember stuff.  And there are moments I’ll never forget.

“I don’t feel like it’s the end of my life . . . I still have my daughter, I have friends.  I want to just say, your life continues.”
