Colt Ford’s recovery from a tour bus crash is taking longer than anticipated. The country star was injured in August after his bus veered into a ditch, requiring him to be pulled through the windshield by first responders. He underwent shoulder surgery shortly after, with his team reporting the procedure went well. However, doctors have since determined his injuries are more extensive than originally thought. Ford has now canceled his scheduled September 30th performance at the State Fair of Virginia. Fair organizers announced they are “actively working” to book a replacement performer. Ford described the incident on social media, writing, “One minute you’re headed to Germany for a show…the next thing you know your bus is in the ditch and you’re getting pulled through a windshield with a broken shoulder by first responders.” (Story URL)
