HARDY Enlists Lainey Wilson For New Single

HARDY's next single, "Wait In The Truck," is a collaboration with Lainey Wilson and it will be released on Friday (August 26th). He teased the song on social media earlier this week with a short video clip writing, "Thanks to everyone involved. This is a special one."

Lainey is currently climbing the country charts with her latest single, also involving a truck, called "Heart Like A Truck."

HARDY will be honored with the Academy of Country Music's Songwriter of the Year award at tonight's (Wednesday, August 24th) ACM Honors, taking place at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

Bits And Pieces: Lainey Wilson & More!

Lainey Wilson, Joe Nichols, Suzy Bogguss, Cody Johnson, and Marty Haggard will all pay homage to Merle Haggard on the Circle Network's Merle Haggard Tribute Show. They will cover such popular Haggard songs as "Mama Tried" and "Workin' Man Blues," to name just a couple. The show will be hosted by Clint Black and will be available to stream on Saturday, September 3rd at 9 p.m. ET.

Runaway June will headline the PEDIGREE Foundation's The Love of Dogs Benefit Concert on October 5th at The Factory at Franklin in Franklin, TN. The event will raise much-needed funds for PEDIGREE Foundation grants program that supports organizations across the country that help dogs in need find loving homes.

Chris Young, Mitchell Tenpenny Top Country Charts This Week

Chris Young and Mitchell Tenpenny top the Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase country radio charts this week with their hit song, "At The End Of A Bar." This is Chris' 13th career Number One single as an artist and his 11th chart-topping single as a songwriter. "At The End Of A Bar" is the 2nd Number One for Mitchell as an artist and also his 2nd Number One single as a songwriter.

Chris shared the big news on Instagram yesterday (Monday, August 22nd) by posting a picture of him and Mitchell holding up their index fingers writing, "Thanks to ALL OF YOU, ‘At The End Of A Bar' is officially my 13th NUMBER 1! Pretty crazy to think that 'Gettin' You Home' was my first number 1 in 2009 and I can't believe my career has grown so much since then! Thanks for writing and singing this one with me @m10penny! (And you too @Chrisdestefano)."

Mitchell said, "I'm just so excited to have a number one with this song. It's a special song and a great story about how it was written. Even cooler to have it with some of my best buddies. Chris has become one of my best friends, so to get to celebrate this together is special in itself. And I can't express enough how amazing Chris DeStefano is. His talent and his energy in the room is unmatched. We've written some of my favorite songs together and I'm just honored to share a #1 with these incredible men."

"At The End of A Bar" is included on Chris' 2021 album, Famous Friends. He released a deluxe edition of the project featuring six new songs this summer.

Thomas Rhett Announces 2023 Canadian Leg Of 'Bring The Bar To You Tour'

Thomas Rhett has extended his Bring The Bar To You Tour with the addition of a Canadian run in 2023. He will be joined by Jordan Davis and Kameron Marlowe when he returns to the road beginning on February 9th in Vancouver, BC. Tickets for the new dates go on sale on Friday (August 26th) at 10 a.m. local at thomasrhett.com.

Thomas said, "It's been an absolute blast being back out on the road this summer and we are so excited to take the tour to Canada next year. It feels like forever since we were last able to play for those fans. They always bring an insane amount of energy and we cannot wait to get up there and see them again."

Mitchell Tenpenny Announces 2023 'This Is The Heavy Tour'

Mitchell Tenpenny has announced plans for a headlining tour in support of his upcoming album, This Is The Heavy, due out September 16th. The This Is The Heavy Tour will kick off in Salt Lake City, Utah on January 26th with special guest Tyler Braden. Tickets go on sale beginning this Friday (August 26th).

Mitchell said, "I'm so excited to begin 2023 with my own tour and have the opportunity to see the fans in these cities, and having TWO Nashville shows in the routing is just icing on the cake!"

Those two shows are scheduled for February 3rd and 4th at the Ryman Auditorium.

Mitchell and Chris Young sit at the top of the Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase radio charts this week with "At The End Of A Bar," which they both wrote and recorded together.

HARDY Taps Puddle Of Mudd For One Night Of 'Wall To Wall Tour'

HARDY will kick off his headlining Wall to Wall Tour on December 1st in Athens, GA. Newcomer Jackson Dean is along for the four-date run, while a one-night-only show in Columbia, S.C. will also feature Puddle of Mudd. Tickets go on sale this Friday (August 26th) at 10 a.m. local time.

HARDY said, "We're hitting some cities and venues that I absolutely love; I'm happy to have Jackson out with me and honored that the guys from Puddle of Mudd are joining us in Columbia. The 2022 ACM Songwriter of the Year will receive honors and perform this week at the 15th Annual ACM Honors ceremony at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium on Wednesday (August 24th).

Zac Brown Band Add Ryman Fundraiser Show To Schedule

Zac Brown Band have just added a surprise Nashville performance to their list of fall tour dates. They will take the stage at the Ryman Auditorium on September 22nd for a one-night-only event. A portion of the proceeds will benefit ‘Hop On A Cure' in its efforts to help fund research for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The foundation was established by one of the band's founding members, John Driskell "Hop" Hopkins, who was diagnosed with ALS earlier this year.

Zac Brown said, "Playing in Nashville, my home away from home, is always something special. This particular one is meaningful because we're raising awareness and funds for one of our very own through Hop on a Cure. We see all the love and support Hop has received thus far so we're gonna bring the house down and show folks a good time in appreciation."

The general ticket on-sale begins Friday (August 26th).

Kane Brown, Kid Rock, and Tyler Braden are among the latest stars to sign on to the Folds of Honor Tennessee's 2nd Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament. The event is set to take place at The Governors Club in Brentwood,TN on August 29th with previously-announced players Lee Brice, Jordan Davis, Michael Ray, Jelly Roll, and Niko Moon, among others. Folds of Honor's mission is to provide opportunity to the families of our nation's injured and fallen veterans in the form of scholarships. Last year's tournament raised over $334,000.

Phil Vassar, Deana Carter Teaming Up For Christmas Tour

Phil Vassar and Deana Carter are teaming up for the Coming Home for Christmas Tour this holiday season beginning on November 25th in Renfro Valley, KY. In anticipation of their first tour together, Phil and Deana co-wrote two original Christmas songs titled "Coming Home for Christmas" and "Brand New Year," both of which will be released this fall and be featured on Phil's upcoming EP release.

Coming Home for Christmas will be Phil's sixth Christmas tour.

Maren Morris Re-Teams With Zedd For New Collaboration

Four years after their first hit collaboration, "The Middle," Maren Morris has again joined forces with Zedd along with Beauz. They released a new single and video on Thursday (August 18th) called "Make You Say."

Maren teased the collaboration on social media several days ago by posting a picture of her and Zedd writing, "Round 2?"

Maren's Humble Quest Tour continues out west with multiple shows this week in both Washington and Oregon.

Kenny Chesney Taps Uncle Kracker For Detroit Show

Kenny Chesney performed for just under two hours when he took the stage at Ford Field in Detroit on Saturday (August 20th) for nearly 50,000 fans. He also surprised the crowd with an appearance by Uncle Kracker. Fans went crazy as Kracker took the second verse of their six-week Number One hit, "When The Sun Goes Down," followed up by Uncle Kracker's hits "Follow Me" and "Drift Away."

Kenny said, "It's been eight years since we sang together, but it was like we never left it, and once we got him out there, I don't think anyone – especially the band – wanted him to leave. So, we just kept going . . ."

Kenny also brought out co-writers and Old Dominion's Matt Ramsey and Brad Tursi for his multi-week Number One, "Save It For A Rainy Day."

The Here And Now Tour wraps up this weekend with two shows at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA.

Tyler Hubbard's New EP Title Track Inspired By Family Dance Parties

Tyler Hubbard has released his new six-song EP, Dancin' In The Country, along with the unofficial video for the song's title track, which was co-written by Tyler and Keith Urban, among others. The Dancin' In The Country EP features Tyler's debut single, "5 Foot 9." which is a Top 15 hit and climbing on the country charts.

Tyler tells us about the idea behind "Dancin' In The Country": "Honestly, (it's) a song that was inspired by these nightly dance parties we've been having in my house after dinner. Me and the three kids and my wife we go in the playroom, turn the party lights on just about every night and have a dance party. So, this is one of those songs that always worked in the dance parties and feels like something that'll be really fun to take on tour and play live and hopefully get the crowd moving the way the kids do during the dance parties. So, ‘Dancin' In The Country' is just a fun one."

These songs along with some other new ones will be featured on Tyler's yet untitled debut solo album, which will be released on January 27, 2023. He will make his solo debut on NBC's Today show on August 30th to debut "5 Foot 9" on television for the first time.

Tyler is set to join Keith Urban's The Speed of Now World Tour beginning on Septeber 3rd in Mountain View, CA.

Eric Church Makes '&' Album Available To General Public

Eric Church originally only released the & album from his Heart & Soul collection to his fan club, the Church Choir, but is now offering it to all fans via standard CD, black vinyl and digital platforms. The & album features Eric's latest single, "Doing Life With Me."

The Heart and Soul albums were both released in April of 2021.

They included the hits "Hell of A View" and "Heart On Fire."

Blake Shelton has released his new single and video, "No Body," which is a throwback to the 90s. To complete the retro sound of the song, he travels back in time to a country bar filled with line-dancing patrons, and Blake revisits his classic mullet look.

Ingrid Andress will celebrate this Friday's (August 26th) release of her sophomore album, Good Person, with a performance of "Feel Like This" on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday (August 25th). Her current single, "Wishful Drinking (with Sam Hunt)," has moved inside the Top 10 at country radio this week.

Maddie & Tae have released a song called "Spring Cleaning" from their upcoming project, Through The Madness Vol. 2. The song's co-writers include Maddie & Tae. Through The Madness Vol. 2 will be released on September 23rd.

Carrie Underwood's Weekend Full Of Opry Performances

Carrie Underwood has a busy weekend at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. She is scheduled to perform on one show tonight (Friday, August 19th) and both shows tomorrow night (Saturday, August 20th).

As a member of the hallowed institution since 2008, Carrie tries to play the venue as often as possible. She tells us: "The Opry is a cornerstone of Country music, so to be able to go and play on the stage that so many people before me have stood and have played and have been members. I mean, it's really amazing to think that I'm actually a part of that family and that it's still relevant, it's still one of those things you have to do when you come to Nashville, you have to see the Grand Ole Opry."

Carrie's music will be part of this weekend's Peloton's All For One 2022 Music Festival, which is one of Peloton's biggest weekends of the year. She is one of 33 artists in a mixed genre lineup with artists like Alanis Morrissette, Lil Baby, Green Day, Maroon 5, Saweetie, Tove Lo, John Mayer and many others. There will be four classes dedicated to Carrie with instructors giving highlights about her career, new album and tour, along with playing her music.

This week, she sits inside the Top 10 and climbing on the country charts with her latest single, "Ghost Story."

Kenny Chesney Releases Limited-Edition Boston Concert Poster Today

In anticipation of the final two shows of his Here And Now Tour, Kenny Chesney will be releasing a special limited-edition poster commemorating his August 26th & 27th dates at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA. LoCash's Preston Brust Reveals Battles With Bell's Palsy

LoCash's Preston Brust recently told People.com that he's been struggling with a recent recurrence of Bell's palsy, a condition that causes sudden weakness in the muscles on one side of the face. Initially diagnosed in 2009, the condition returned in December of last year and he has spent the last several months recovering.

Preston said, "I count my blessings. I'm getting stronger every day, and I don't worry about it quite as much — especially the second time around. It's like, 'OK, we got through this once, we can do it again. We know this is going to be a long journey, so pack your bags — and let's roll, let's do this.'"

When the Bell's palsy initially struck, Preston admits he was scared. He explained, "I was brushing my teeth, and all of a sudden I looked in the mirror and there was toothpaste just coming out of the right side of my mouth — all down my beard and onto my shirt." Fearing he may have had a stroke, Preston rushed to the hospital

He has since learned how to compensate and cover for the affliction on stage by placing mics at certain angles, wearing sunglasses and staying out of the spotlight.

Jennifer Wayne, Brad Rempel To Co-Host Show On The Design Network

Runaway June's Jennifer Wayne and High Valley's Brad Rempel are teaming up to host a new show on The Design Network called Flip U, short for Flip University. The show will follow the two as they help flipping hopefuls ace the test and turn a profit in Nashville. The six-part series will be available to viewers Spring 2023 on such streaming platforms as Samsung TV+, The Roku Channel, Amazon's FreeVee, Pluto, Sling, and a dozen more.

Jennifer said, "Brad and I would always run into each other at shows, and we'd always end up talking backstage about real estate! We've given each other a few tips throughout the years, and we can't wait to share them now with our viewers!"

Blake Shelton Taps Jimmie Allen As 'The Voice' Battle Advisor

Blake Shelton's season 22 Battle Advisor on The Voice will be Jimmie Allen. He shared the news on social media yesterday (Wednesday, August 17th), posting a picture of the two together writing, "I couldn't keep it a secret any longer… Welcome to #TeamBlake, @jimmieallen!!! #TheVoice" The other Team Battle Advisors will be Sean Paul, Charlie Puth and Jazmine Sullivan. The Voice returns to NBC on Monday, September 19th at 8 p.m. ET.

In addition to Blake, this season's coaches are Gwen Stefani, Camila Cabello and John Legend. This is Camila first time to be a coach on the The Voice.

Dustin Lynch Getting Closer To Becoming Licensed Pilot

Dustin Lynch is well on his way to becoming a licensed pilot. Earlier this week, he tweeted, "Set a goal, and when you get there ... man it always feels good! First solo flight today." He has been working toward this goal since last year.

He told Entertainment Tonight, "I didn't realize how free you feel whenever you can hop in an airplane and go wherever you want to go and it opens a whole new world. Those that fly know what I'm talking about."

Dustin's fellow entertainers who also have their pilots licenses and planes include Dierks Bentley, Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson and Brad Paisley.

Jon Pardi's Headlining Tour Is A 'Dream Come True'

Jon Pardi is loving every minute out on his headlining Ain't Always The Cowboy Tour. He's joined by special guests Lainey Wilson and Hailey Whitters, and as Jon tells us, it's "a dream come true." "The Ain't Always The Cowboy Tour has been awesome! We've been selling out. It's been amazing, just like a dream come true. Every time we get on stage, we have a blast. I'm definitely getting my touring legs back, you know, I've been playing 100 minutes every night. Voice is holding up, that's good."

The tour rolls on to Lampe, Missouri on Friday (August 19th) and Terre Haute, Indiana on Saturday (August 20th).

Luke Bryan's New Video Features Real Unsung American Heroes

Luke Bryan has released video for his current hit single, "Country On," and it features real-life unsung heroes including farmers, truck drivers, first responders, soldiers, and cowboys, among others. Luke posted a video on social media of him shaking hands with several of the people featured in the clip writing, "I truly loved meeting all these local people while shooting the video for #CountryOn."

"Country On" sits at Number 15 and climbing on the country charts and is available at all digital retailers.

Shania Twain, Martina McBride To Appear On Fox Series 'Monarch'

Shania Twain, Martina McBride, Tanya Tucker and Little Big Town are all set to make guest appearances in the new FOX series Monarch, premiering on September 11th. The series centers around America's leading country music family. It stars Trace Adkins, Susan Sarandon, and Anna Friel.

The Monarch trailer was released yesterday (Wednesday, August 17th).

Garth Brooks To Open Thunder Ridge Nature Arena In The Ozarks

Garth Brooks will christen the newly expanded Thunder Ridge Nature Arena at Bass Pro Shops Big Cedar Lodge in the Ozarks of Missouri with a live concert on October 1st. Tickets go on sale on Friday, August 26th at 10 a.m. CT via Ticketmaster.

The Thunder Ridge land has been set aside in a not-for-profit foundation, so all proceeds from events held at the Nature Arena will go to further enhance Thunder Ridge and support conservation.
