Rhett Akins Was Invited to Join the Grand Ole Opry

Rhett Akins has officially been invited to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry.  Jon Pardi surprised him onstage at the Opry with the news, and Rhett’s family joined him too, including his son Thomas Rhett.

Rhett said, quote, “All I do everyday is write words and I can’t think of any words right now other than, ‘Thank you Lord Jesus.'”
