David Alan Grier is 70.  “In Living Color” superstar.  He IS Karate Man, sidekick to Blankman, AND Don “No Soul” Simmons in “Amazon Women on the Moon”.

Nancy Dussault is 90.  Muriel Rush on “Too Close for Comfort”.

Lena Horne  (1917 – 2010)  Legendary Hollywood actress, R&B singer, and civil rights activist.  “Stormy Weather“ was her signature song.  She also played Glinda the Good opposite Diana Ross’ Dorothy in “The Wiz” in 1978.

Florence Ballard  (1943 – 1976)  One of the original Supremes.  She was fired and wound up on welfare before she died.
