  4. Jackass: Best and Last — $8.4 million

DC Studios’ Supergirl failed to launch as hoped, opening with an estimated $38 million domestically to finish second behind Toy Story 5, which earned $70 million in its second weekend. The superhero film, reportedly carrying a production budget of about $170 million, now faces an uphill battle to turn a profit.

The soft debut adds to DC’s recent box office struggles and raises questions about the franchise’s momentum despite strong marketing and the character’s popularity.
