A Rhode Island man says he’s frustrated after spending more than $600 on a Trump-branded wristwatch for his wife, only to receive one with a glaring typo. Instead of “Trump,” the watch face reads “Rump,” missing the “T.”

Tim Pettit says he expected higher quality from a product marketed as an official presidential item. But the company’s website notes in fine print that it only licenses the Trump name — and isn’t actually run or manufactured by Trump or his organization. The mishap comes as other Trump-branded products, including a smartphone, have also drawn criticism for delays and changing claims about how they’re made.

Following some media attention, Pettit says the company that makes the watches reached out to him and promised to replace it. (Yahoo)
