Riley Green revealed he momentarily considered diving into the crowd after a fan threw a cellphone at his face during a March 14th concert in Melbourne, Australia. The incident at Margaret Court Arena required five stitches on Green’s earlobe, leaving him bleeding on stage. “There was probably a moment where I thought about diving into the crowd, and I reeled that back a little bit,” the 37-year-old told Entertainment Weekly. “There’s people in the venue that paid good money to come see me play, and it seems pretty childish for me to let one person ruin it for everybody.” Green pointed at the disruptive fan, saying “Get your a** on out of here, go on” before security escorted them out. He credited his upbringing for his restraint, noting his grandfather taught him respect and how to treat people properly. Green continued performing despite the injury. Story URL
