Dunkin' Is Launching Its Viral 48-Ounce Beverage Buckets Nationwide

If you’re feeling sluggish today, maybe you didn’t have enough coffee. But tomorrow, you can get a BUCKET of it.
Earlier this year, Dunkin’ tested 48-ounce BUCKETS of iced coffee at a few locations in New England. For reference, a Venti iced coffee at Starbucks is 24 ounces. So, twice that.
Now, they will be available nationwide starting TOMORROW, Friday the 22nd. The buckets cost $12.99 each, and can be filled with iced coffee or Refreshers, and are “fully customizable,” with varying flavors, caffeine, and sweetness.
If you want one, you’ll have to hurry. Dunkin’ says every store will have 25 buckets. It’s unclear if they’ll ever be restocked, or if this is a one-time thing.
The 48-ounce buckets are not meant to be shared, and there’s only room for one straw. They also won’t fit in your cup holder . . . and you won’t be able to get a refill.
Buckets of coffee went viral last summer after smaller coffee shops started selling them. So, it’s not an original idea. Dunkin’ is just going BIG with it.
