Police in Lake Havasu City, Arizona responded to a report of a deceased individual and found Sheets with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Sheets rose to fame as a buyer on Storage Wars, appearing in more than 160 episodes after the show debuted in 2010. He earned the nickname “The Gambler” for his high-risk bidding style and often appeared alongside his son, Brandon.

After health issues, including a 2019 heart attack, Sheets retired from television and moved to Arizona, where he operated an antique store.
