"Stranger Things" But in a Retirement Community? Check Out a Trailer for "The Boroughs"

Netflix released the trailer for a new show called “The Boroughs”, and it looks kinda like “Stranger Things”, but with old people in a retirement community.

Which isn’t surprising, because it’s produced by the Duffer Brothers . . . the guys who did “Stranger Things”.

Here’s the show’s official logline . . . “In a seemingly perfect retirement community, a grieving newcomer’s monstrous encounter inspires him to join a misfit crew of unlikely heroes who uncover a dark secret that proves their ‘golden years’ are more dangerous, and they are more formidable than anyone expects.”

It hits Netflix on May 21st and stars Alfred Molina, Alfre Woodard, Denis O’Hare, Geena Davis, and Bill Pullman.
