This unexploded pipe bomb was found outside the doorway of 11 Odell Avenue in White Plains on March 30, 2026, after two devices had been detonated on the block, allegedly by Raymond Elders, who lives in that building.

Police in Pennsylvania say a Lancaster County man was injured and later arrested after a homemade pipe bomb he built “for entertainment” accidentally exploded outside his home.

51-year-old Travis Peachey was hurt when the device detonated as he tried to disarm it in a shed, sending shrapnel into his face and eye. His wife and two children were inside the house at the time. Troopers later found damage to the shed and charged Peachey with multiple felonies, including endangering children, risking catastrophe, and possessing an explosive.

Peachey told cops he built the pipe bomb because they were supposed to have guests over, and he thought it would be entertaining. (WJAC-TV Johnstown, PA)
