Zac Brown Band member John Driskell Hopkins was diagnosed with ALS at the end of 2021.  Since then, he says he’s been “chasing the clock” to live as much life as he can.

He says he’s taking more family vacations, is in the studio more, and still performing on tour.  But he’s worried that staying active is causing his body stress and exacerbating his condition.

Quote, “So it’s a bit of a catch-22, you know, I’ve created.  I hope that my progression continues to be slow and that I can sing for a long time, but who knows?”
