Jamey Johnson shared the insightful advice Willie Nelson once gave him to stay authentic in the music industry.  It’s basically to not focus on the opinions of the executives of record labels, or in his words, “the suits”.

Quote, “[Willie said] they’re going to be around for a short time . . . You’re the one that’s gonna be here in the end.  None of them are gonna be around.’  You sit and watch these labels, and they change hands, and they keep changing hands.”

Jamey also announced the Traveling Truebadour Tour, which kicks off next month.
