Steve Kelly has made it to the Pickin’ Porch!

Steve Kelly plays with several bands and performs solo too!

Chattanooga TN:  Steve Kelley, who also goes by Kdog, started singing with his mother on stage @ age 3, an accomplished pianist teacher & singer, herself. 3-4 yrs later Kdog began playing guitar, sax,bass,harmonica, drums and mandolin. His Father, a pastor, also played banjo & guitar, sang & had a weekly radio ministry that Steve performed on weekly! So music was part of the household growing up. In the late 70’s, started playing bass guitar with different bands. Wanting a little more out of music, he started forming local bands (Double Barrel, Crossfire, co-formed Outlaw 45 & now Six Shooter.)  During the early 90’s, Kdog expanded into writing & shopping songs in Nashville. Kdog opened many shows for the likes of Kenny Chesney, Billy Joe Royal, Exile,Josh Turner, Confederate Railroad, Travis Tritt & many more! Now after many many years from help & support & love from his wife,family & friends he still loves performing usually 3-5 times a week. You can find Kdog a solo act as-Kdog Flyin Solo or with the Six Shooter band. Every Saturday night, he’s with the Straight Up band @ VFW 4848 on Amnicola Hwy & some fill-in work w/ other acts as a utility player. All can be found on Facebook.
