Luke Combs Is Still Upset That He Missed the Birth of His Son

Luke Combs has played sold out shows all over the world.  But there is one moment he wishes he could redo.

Back in 2023, when Luke was touring in Australia, he missed the birth of his son Beau.

The tour had already been booked and sold out before Luke and his wife even knew they were expecting.  That meant there was no way to cancel the shows once the timing became clear.

Here’s what Luke said, “My whole identity is that, no matter what, I’m gonna prioritize my wife and my children over my job.”

But then once he realized he couldn’t keep his promise, he was devastated.

Now Luke says that he dreads the moment his son asks why he was there for his brothers’ births, but not his.  But Luke says the experience helped him set clearer boundaries between family and touring.
