Cybertruck Driver in Moron Mode

A North Texas man is facing charges after driving his Tesla Cybertruck straight into Grapevine Lake — apparently to test the vehicle’s “Wade Mode.”
Police say the driver intentionally entered the water near a boat ramp Monday evening. But the test didn’t go far. The electric truck quickly took on water, became disabled, and had to be abandoned. “Wade Mode” is designed for shallow water — about 30 inches deep — not full lake crossings.
The driver and his passengers got out safely, and rescue crews later pulled the partially submerged truck from the lake. He was arrested and now faces multiple charges, including operating a vehicle in a restricted area and violations related to boating safety laws. (KDFW-TV Dallas)
