Thomas Rhett Resumes Tour This Week After Vocal Issues

Thomas Rhett will resume his headlining tour beginning tomorrow night (Thursday, September 8th) in Tuscaloosa, AL after being forced off the road by doctors who ordered him on voice rest nearly two weeks ago. Thomas shared the good news via a video message to fans on Instagram yesterday (Tuesday, September 6th) saying in part, "I've been cleared to go, cleared to sing."

He explained, "The doctors over at Vanderbilt put me on vocal rest. My cords were pretty dad gum swollen and inflamed and it's been a week for sure. I think it's the quietest I've been in about a decade. I went back this morning and they checked my cords again and all the inflammation is down . . . I just wanted to hop on here and say thank y'all so much for the love and just for the well wishes. Glad to be back, glad to be singing again . . ."

Vocal issues forced the last-minute postponement of Thomas' show in Chula Vista, CA on August 27th.

His Bring The Bar To You Tour is set to run through October 15th in Fairborn, OH with special guests Parker McCollum and Conner Smith.

I'm going to give you everything that I have. I am so sorry, so sorry."

Luke added that he had already refunded the tickets prior to show time. He explained, "Before we even start playing this show, I have to let you know that I have refunded all of your tickets. Maren Morris' 'Lunatic' T-Shirt Raises Over $100K For Transgender Causes

So far, Maren Morris has raised upwards of $100,000 for transgender causes following negative comments made about her by Tucker Carlson on Fox News.

While interviewing Jason Aldean's wife, Brittany (on 9-1) Carlson called Maren a "lunatic" and a "fake country music singer."

Almost immediately, Maren took advantage of the exposure and had T-shirts for sale that read: "Lunatic Country Music Person" and it includes a support and crisis hotline for trans youth.

The merch went on sale Friday night and in the first two hours had raised $63,000.

Brittany Aldean came under fire in late August for a makeup video she posted on Instagram with the caption, "I'd really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life."

In response, Cassadee Pope tweeted, "You'd think celebs with beauty brands would see the positives in including LGBTQ+ people in their messaging. But instead here we are, hearing someone compare their ‘tomboy phase' to someone wanting to transition. Real nice."

Maren got involved by replying: "It's so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human? Sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie."

After some back and forth between the three women, Brittany insisted that her words were "taken out of context," and later told Carlson that she's "advocating for children."

Maren's most recent post was Saturday morning (Sept. 3), the charity shirt had then sold more than $100,000 for GLAAD's Transgender Media Program and Trans Lifeline.

Carly Pearce Says She Cleaned A Lot Of Toilets Before Getting Her Record Deal

A quick look at Carly Pearce's tour schedule shows she has Labor Day off before she heads to Switzerland. We talked with Carly about jobs she held before she was an entertainer. She told us this: "I used to work in the Banana Republic in the Opry Mills Mall in Nashville, which is kind of the touristy mall. So, we get a lot of traffic. So I work there 10 hours on a Saturday, which y'all, you see a lot of people. And then I also cleaned Airbnb‘s, which is not glamorous at all. I cleaned a lot of toilets, scrubbed a lot of floors, cleaned a lot of sheets… nasty. And I also nannied, which was super fun, but hard work." :29 (OC: but hard work)

Jason Aldean Dropped By Longtime Publicist

Jason Aldean was dropped by his longtime public relations firm yesterday (Thursday, September 1st) after his wife, Brittany, posted a video on Instagram last week that drew the ire of the likes of Maren Morris and Cassadee Pope who called her "transphobic." The video showed a glam before and after of Brittany which she captioned, "I'd really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life." The GreenRoom has represented Jason for 17 years.

While not mentioning the recent controversy as the catalyst for the split, co-owner Tyne Parrish said, "Music has always been and remains The GreenRoom's core focus, so we had to make the difficult decision after 17 years to step away from representing Jason. We aren't the best people for the gig anymore, but will always be big fans of his music — he is one of the greatest live entertainers in country music."

So far, Jason has not commented on the split.

The GreenRoom's other clients include Dierks Bentley, Thomas Rhett, Lady A, and Kip Moore.

And I love Maggiano's and it was definitely an experience that I'll never forget, but I am definitely thankful for everything I learned there, and polishin' silverware and talking about learning patience and all that, but definitely something I'm grateful to have moved on from."

Of course, Belmont is where Tyler met Brian Kelley and they formed Florida Georgia Line.

Jon Pardi Racks Up Fifth Number One

Jon Pardi charts his fifth Number One hit this week with "Last Night Lonely." The song was co-written by Jimi Bell, Joe Fox and Dylan Marlowe, and marks each of the songwriters' first official Number One single. "Last Night Lonely" is the lead single from Jon's upcoming album, Mr. Saturday Night, due out on Friday (September 2nd).

Jon told Billboard, "I love the way ‘Last Night Lonely' (was) written, and when I first heard it I knew it was one I wanted, for sure, on the new record. The response to the song has been really amazing to watch. We knew we felt good about it, but it has really connected with our fans. It's incredibly cool to have it be the first No.1 for the writers, too. I'm so excited for them."

The new album borrows its title from one of the 14 tracks on Jon's new album, which he tells us made perfect sense as it pertains to the entire project. "'Mr. Saturday Night' is about a guy (who) has a great time wherever he goes but behind the curtain he's sad. He misses his girl and, I don't know -- he says he messed it up so I don't know if she's coming back but he tried to have the best time and make the best of it. It goes along by titling it Mr. Saturday Night cause we got a lot of feel-good songs and a lot of great just all kinds of feels on this fourth record, so I know you're all gonna dig it. Check it out."

Jon continues on his Ain't Always The Cowboy Tour with Lainey Wilson and Hailey Whitters through October 1st where he wraps things up at Nashville's Ascend Amphitheater.
