Sony and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day shattered expectations with a $355 million domestic debut and $927 million worldwide in its opening weekend, marking the second-largest global and North American opening in box office history behind Avengers: Endgame. The film opened to $572 million internationally, led by China with $121 million, and set opening-weekend records in several markets.

After two weeks at number-one, The Odyssey dropped to second with $51 million.

Toy Story 5 was third with $6.3 million, followed by Minions & Monsters in fourth with $5.8 million and Moana in fifth with $5.3 million.
