Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Message to Russia

Arnold Schwarzenegger delivered a strong message regarding Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, but it may never reach the ones who need to hear it.

The Hollywood mega star tweeted a nine-minute video telling the Russian people that their government has been lying to them and hiding the truth about what is going on in Ukraine. He says, “The Russian government has lied, not only to the citizens, but to its soldiers” whom he says don’t even know why they’ve been sent to Ukraine. He also has a special message to the protesters in Russia who are taking a stand against Vladimir Putin at great risk to themselves. He says, “The world has seen your bravery. We know that you have suffered the consequences of your courage. You have been arrested. You have been jailed, and you have been beaten. You are my new heroes.”

Arnold hopes his message will spread around the world and even find its way through some cracks in Russia’s iron curtain.
