A Pet Goose Saved Its Family's Lives

A pet goose in Texas is getting credit for saving a family’s life after it alerted them to a barn fire.  The family was asleep when Goosey started honking really loudly as flames tore through their barn.

Luckily the goose was loud enough, and the family woke up, grabbed a water hose, and put out the fire.  And all the animals inside the barn escaped unharmed, too.  So maybe Goosey was just trying to save his friends. (Here’s a news report.)
