A Former "American Idol" Contestant Has Been Found Guilty of Murdering His Wife

Former “American Idol” contestant Caleb Flynn was found guilty yesterday of murdering his wife.

 

 

Flynn called 911 on February 16th, saying his wife Ashley had been shot by an intruder who broke into their Ohio home.  He was arrested for the crime three days later.

 

 

Flynn was briefly a contestant on Season 12 of “Idol” in 2013.  During his Road to Hollywood interview, he said, quote, “I absolutely love the lord and I love my wife more than anything.  She is very, very pretty.  I love her.”

 

 

Flynn was a “music pastor” at a church, and was having an affair with a young intern.  The prosecution presented multiple texts between the two in which Flynn said he wanted his wife dead, and talked about killing her.

 

 

He maintains his innocence.  (???)
