Mickey Mouse is the new Kevin McCallister and a racoon and weasel take the place of the Wet Bandits in the upcoming “Mickey’s Home Alone” special.

In the new trailer, Mickey is excited to spend Christmas at home, but plans change when Minnie surprises him and the gang with tickets to spend the holidays at an Ice Palace.

Just like in “Home Alone”, when everyone is rushing to leave the house in the morning, Mickey and Pluto get left behind.  And in another twist, they must protect their Christmas dinner from a mischievous raccoon and weasel.

The special premieres on Thanksgiving Day, which is the 26th, on Disney Junior, and hits Disney+ the next day.

There’s an EP that comes out this Friday with original music from the special, including the song “Ho-Ho-Home for Christmas” and a new arrangement of “Jingle Bells”.
