Roseanne is working on a new TV series.  Scratch that:  She WORKED on a new TV series.  Because while we were all just stumbling around, minding our own business, she went and filmed an entire season.

It’s eight episodes, and it’s a comedy.  It’s called “Meemaw”.  It stars Roseanne as the matriarch of a, quote, “mixed-race family of preppers in Texas.”

It sounds like it’s more than just a family comedy though, because her character is, quote, “on a quest to take down a criminal empire and throw her granddaughter the most fantastic bat mitzvah.”  (???)

The show will also star Randy Quaid as her husband and Drea de Matteo from “The Sopranos” as their daughter.  Doug Jones, Jon Lovitz, comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, and Instagram star Indy Bugg are in it, too.

“Meemaw” was funded by private investors, and there’s no word yet when, where, or how we’ll be able to see it.

But Roseanne says it’s for EVERYONE, not just conservatives.  Quote, “My daughters are super woke and of course I love them, so I put in jokes for them, too, like I did on ‘Roseanne’.

“I make fun of everybody because everybody deserves to be made fun of who’s in power.  So, I’ve got some great jokes about Republicans that the lefties are gonna love.  I’m an equal opportunity destroyer.”
