Nashville has tons of beautiful murals adorning buildings in town, many paying homage to country music. It was one such mural of the queen herself, Dolly Parton, that seemed to enrage a common vandal.

East Nashville’s The 5-Spot and Hip Zipper shared a video from Monday (August 3rd) morning showing a man with facial hair and a ponytail in basketball shorts, a Doobie Brothers’ tee and black sneakers, vandalizing the Dolly art on the side of their building with what appears to be a small jar of paint or India ink.

The comments were filled with suggestions for vigilante justice, but two hours after it was originally posted, it seems that the perp had been found. In addition, the mural artist, Kim Radford, was on her way to the site to clean up and repair the damage.

Who would have ever thought it needed to be said out loud: Don’t mess with Dolly.
