A one-of-one Shohei Ohtani Topps Dual Gold Logoman Autograph card sold for a record $11 million after a collector pulled it from a pack at a hobby shop in Boca Raton, Florida, Fanatics announced Thursday. The sale is the highest ever for a modern baseball card and the third-highest public sports card sale of all time.

The card features two game-worn Gold MLB Logoman patches commemorating Ohtani’s consecutive National League MVP seasons in 2024 and 2025, along with autographs in both English and Japanese Kanji. It was purchased by Secure Collectibles, a group that includes Shark Tank investor Kevin O’Leary.

Only a 2007-08 Michael Jordan / Kobe Bryant Dual Logoman Autograph card ($12.9 million) and a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle card ($12.6 million) have sold publicly for more.
