A black squirrel halted play during the seventh inning of Monday’s Tigers-Orioles game at Comerica Park. More than a dozen members of the grounds crew struggled to catch the animal before Orioles outfielder Leody Taveras tried to scoop it up with his glove, briefly sending it airborne. The crew eventually captured the squirrel under a towel. Umpire Bill Miller thanked them over the PA system. Baltimore won 8-5. Story URL
