Wynonna Judd was slated to perform alongside Kelsea Ballerini during the CBS special, New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash. But, the legendary singer was forced to cancel at the last minute due to health concerns.

Wynonna shared the news in a statement posted to social media Saturday evening (December 31).

“I was looking so forward to singing with my dear @kelseaballerini tonight. Instead, I am on the bus struggling with an extreme bout of vertigo, and am unable to perform,” the “Tell Me Why” singer wrote. “Nashville, I am absolutely heartbroken and so sorry to have let you all down tonight. Kelsea, I look forward to stepping onstage with you in February, better than ever!!!!”

Wynonna will be returning to the road later this month for the second leg of the wildly successful The Judds: The Final Tour 2023.

The tour is a celebration of the life and legacy of Wynonna’s mom, Naomi Judd, who died in April.

The tour will take Wynonna and some special guests to fifteen cities over four weeks. Hershey, Pennsylvania, will be the first stop on January 26. The tour will wrap in Hollywood, Florida, on February 25.

Country stars including Ashley McBryde, Tanya Tucker, Kelsea Ballerini, Martina McBride, Little Big Town and Brandi Carlile will join Wynonna on various dates of the tour. The shows will likely follow the same set lists of the first leg of the tour. During the initial dates of The Judds: The Final Tour, Wynonna sang some of her solo hits. Guest artists then joined Wynonna on stage to sing some of the songs she made popular alongside her mother during their 8-year career as The Judds.
