Would You Do This? A Lady Got Into a Waymo . . . That Was Driving the Wrong Way?
There are three kinds of people: Those who are NOT ready to ride in a self-driving car. Those who ARE. And the psychos who are willing to hop into any self-driving vehicle . . . even if it’s ACTIVELY BUGGING OUT.
A woman in Los Angeles called a Waymo on Friday, and when it arrived to pick her up . . . it barreled through a drive-thru . . . GOING THE WRONG WAY.
Fortunately, there wasn’t another car there . . . although it looks like another car was about to make the turn around the corner to the drive-thru window.
The woman’s son filmed the bizarre situation and posted it online. He JOKED about the craziness in the video . . . but that didn’t stop his mom from hopping in, as if everything was normal. He did say, “God, Mom, be safe!”
As far as we know, the woman made it wherever she was going. Waymo hasn’t commented . . . so it’s unclear if they were made aware of the issue.
