Every country boy knows that when your daughters ask to go hunting with you, you take them hunting. So when Thomas Rhett‘s oldest daughters, Willa Gray and Ada James, asked to go turkey hunting, off they went. And it turned into a special memory for them.
The Akins trio went to Mississippi for opening weekend and Willa got her first gobbler sitting right by Dad. Ada had a couple close chances too, but Thomas joked, “sometimes you get the turkey and sometimes you are the turkey.”
He said getting to experience it with his daughters made it one of the coolest trips he’s had as a dad!
Hopefully, Ada will get one next time.
