Legendary actor James Caan passed away last night (July 6th) as reported by a family member. He was best known for his role as “Sonny” in “The Godfather“, as well as acting along side Kathy Bates in “Misery” and Will Farrell in “Elf“. James was nominated for multiple awards including four Golden Globes, an Emmy, and an Oscar. His family took to Twitter last night to announce his passing.
