NASA announced that the Artemis 2 launch is still on target, which means we could see four astronauts being sent on a trip around the moon as early as next week. And while these astronauts will not be stepping down onto the surface of the moon, NASA is looking ahead and trying to send astronauts to the lunar surface in 2028 — with the Artemis 4 mission.
