A Michigan woman was arrested last week after she stole a bottle of wine from a liquor store and concealed it on her person – or more accurately, in her person.

Police say the 48-year-old woman had been caught the day before drinking alcohol inside the same store without paying. She returned the next day, tried to take another bottle, and employees couldn’t find it when they stopped her. Police came and took her into custody. When they brought her to the jail, they found the stolen bottle of Chardonnay… “inside a body cavity.”

Her unusual method of consuming a bottle of wine led to her being rushed to the hospital for treatment. She is facing multiple charges, including retail fraud, smuggling, and trespassing. (NY Post)
