Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus, left, Joe Don Rooney and Gary LeVox accepts the Horizon Award during the 36th annual CMA Awards show at the Grand Ole Opry House on Nov 6, 2002. Their debut album sold over a million copies and whose recent sophomore “Melt” album debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard album chart.

End-of-tour presents from the headliner to the opening acts have become a bit of a tradition in country music, and Rascal Flatts did it up right with their gifts to openers Chris Lane and Lauren Alaina.

The award-winning band gave Chris a Mustang GTO and Lauren a Ford Bronco in her favorite color, emerald green. The Flatts’ Gary LeVox shared the moment of absolute shock from both Chris and Lauren on Instagram.

Normal end-of-tour gifts are something like a new guitar, a plaque, a watch or other piece of jewelry.  Rascal Flatts gave Sara Evans a red Jeep for her end-of-tour gift in 2012.  This is Elvis-level gift-giving.
