What’s your favorite “Boomer” Halloween candy?  And what even qualifies as a Boomer candy anyway?

The website “The Takeout” defines a Boomer candy as one that’s stood the test of time . . . without too many changes along the way.

And #1 is pretty obvious . . .

1.  Werther’s Original . . . Everyone’s grandpa loves these.

2.  Laffy Taffy

3.  Milk Duds

4.  Cinnamon Jawbreakers

5.  Butterscotch

6.  Starburst . . . This is a low blow.  They were created in 1959, and technically they are a version of taffy, but come on now. (Am I a Boomer now?)

7.  Cinnamon Discs

8.  Smarties

9.  Root Beer Barrels

10.  Strawberry Bon Bons . . . Sweet memories of that gooey strawberry center.

Just missing out on the top ten were: peppermints . . . candy corn . . . and Tootsie Rolls.
