Alberta RCMP officers responded to a theft report involving barbecue goods in Crowsnest Pass on Monday and discovered an unusual suspect. Police were searching for someone described as having red hair, short stature, and wearing a thick coat. After a brief investigation, officers found a red fox attempting to hide nearby with its mouth stuffed full of stolen hot dogs. The RCMP shared photos on social media showing the thieving fox caught with the evidence. “The suspect was released without conditions — and a full belly,” officials wrote in their humorous social media post about the incident.
